Network Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installation and deployment of networking hardware and software (e.g: switch, router, firewall, wireless controller and access point)
- Configuration network devices to meet the customer requirements and solution architecture
- Capable of analyse network performance to ensure optimal functionality and resolving network issues through effective troubleshooting techniques
- Capable for routine maintenance network devices to ensure performance, security and stability
- Capable for update/upgrade firmware & software network devices to the stable version
- Prepare documentation of installation, troubleshooting report (corrective maintenance), daily or monthly report (preventive maintenance)
Qualification:
- In-depth understanding of network diagnosis layer by layer (7 Layer OSI Model “Open Systems Interconnection Model”)
- Minimum 1 year experience as network engineer
- Good problem solving and analytical skill
- Familiar with network devices (switch / router / access point from various brand)
- Familiar with network diagnostic tools
- Having technical certification related to networking (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, HCIA) is a plus
- Willing to travel
- Contractual basis
